Goalie Coach
Coach Ish was born and raised right here in Long Beach. He started his aquatics career as a club swimmer at Lakewood Aquatics at 10 years old. He attended Long Beach Poly High School (Class of 2011) where he began his water polo career. He earned 2nd team All Moore League his junior year, and 1st team his senior year as goalie for the Jackrabbits. While in high school, Ish also played for Los Al water polo club alongside Coach Dylan who was his teammate. Ish was then recruited to UC Davis (Class of 2015). After playing one and half years for the division I team, Ish moved to the inter-collegiate club team where he quickly was elected president of the club and managed the team for the next 3 years. Following his college career, Ish moved back to Long Beach where he became the goalie coach and frosh-soph swim coach at Wilson HS. After one year with the Bruins, Ish became head coach of the boys water polo program at LB Poly in 2016 and coached the Jackrabbits to a CIF-SS championship in 2021. Coach Ish, along with the support of phenomenal families and coaches, started 562 WPC in the winter of 2019

Coach Nicole grew up swimming and playing water polo in the Long Beach Area, going to Long Beach Poly High School (Class of 2010) as a dual sport 4-year varsity athlete in swimming and water polo. She then went on to play water polo at Cal State Long Beach for all four years of college. Coach Nicole graduated with a B.S. in Engineering and now works at a local engineering firm as her day job, while coaching at 562 Water Polo.

Coach Dylan was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He has been a water polo athlete for 17 years and has been coaching water polo for 5 years.

Chase attended and graduated from Long Beach Poly and is planning on being a student athlete at LBCC. During his time at Poly, Chase played on the water polo and swim team for 4 years. In his free time he enjoys playing games, spending time at the beach, and playing water polo. After playing 4 years of water polo in high school, Chase is excited for this opportunity to help introduce the sport to the next generation of high school athletes.

Justin Greenwood was born in Long Beach and has lived in the city for 17 years. He played Varsity Water Polo for Long Beach Poly as the primary center. He is currently playing Viking Water Polo for Long Beach City College. Justin loves to see the development of his athletes and their daily achievements, their growth is what inspires him to continue coaching.
562 Summer Camps Youth Trainer
She is a Current NCAA D1 player. Spent 4 years at Long Beach Poly High School then continued career at LBCC and is now attending Iona College. Sydney was team captain at both Poly High and LBCC.
