Scholarship Application

We believe that water polo should be accessible to all athletes who want to play the sport. Our goal is to grow the sport right here in our backyard in Long Beach. We want to provide a water polo club that gives ALL young athletes the opportunity to play water polo. Staying true to this philosophy, we have grades-based scholarship opportunities for families who need financial assistance in order to allow their young athlete to play and participate in the sport.

Scholarships and partial-scholarships will be granted to student athletes who would not otherwise be able to afford club water polo. All 562 Water Polo Club scholarships require that athletes maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher in order to qualify. Athletes who earn scholarships will have regular grade checks. ATHLETES should answer each question thoroughly and thoughtfully.

USA Water Polo offers a "Shieldy Scholarship" for a Gold USAWP membership if you qualify (You must include a copy of your Free/Reduced School Lunch Program Acceptance to qualify)
